I'm reading some of the reviews and I can't help but think that this Halo series is suffering from some of the same issues the new Star Wars series experienced. People are too upset about how the games were much like the Star Wars fans remembering all the nostalgia of the original movies. I think anyone who goes and watches this show should enjoy it for what it is. You won't experience all the same things a game can magically create. A budget limits your capabilities but to be honest I am quite impressed with what we've been given. Sure, Master Chief's face is shown. It's hard to build a connection to a character without seeing him. There are a few other changes from the games that this series has done and I'm embracing them. The show is awesome so far and I'm excited for where it will ultimately take us. Just take a step back, realize this isn't the game, and enjoy this awesome universe that is coming to live action.

We have all been fed a lie that plastic straws and sustainable fishing are the paths for our oceans to heal. This film is quite extraordinary and eye opening. Commercial fishing is ruining our oceans, destroying fish and plant life, and causing slavery.

Probably one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. The musical score and how it beautifully captured that kelp forest, the octopus, and how the relationship developed... it just drew you in more. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would get teary eyed over a man and his relationship with an octopus. A must watch documentary.
