It’s hard to make a film where I genuinely dislike every character except Peter Dinklage’s. They took a pretty mild idea and made it bland and boring. Didn’t stand out very much for me at all. Soundtrack didn’t help it either. There was absolutely no suspense for a movie trying to be a “thriller”. For example, Uncut Gems had me sitting up biting my nails for the entirety of the movie. It was well made with an interesting plot, oscar nomination worthy performance from Adam Sandler, and a stellar execution in the thriller genre. I Care A Lot had none of this. Don’t waste your time with this movie.
