Unless you are a die-hard Sushant fan (not the one who became a fan because it was the latest trend), please avoid this terrible adaptation of a classic book. Don’t let the over emotional reviews and IMDB ratings fool you as this is pure trash. Not commenting on Sushant’s performance as it is his last release, but every one else has hammed his/her way to glory. Sanjana as a lead actress is awkward, wooden faced, and has zero chemistry with Sushant. The script and dialogues (barring a couple) are pedestrian. Only bright spot are the songs by A.R. Rahman, but you can find them on YouTube, so not a reason to waste your band width and time by watching this excuse of a movie for them. One word summary - Avoid ! And if you are really interested in watching the adaptation of the book and not read it. Please watch The fault in our stars.
