Wow! Beyond expectations. Non-stop thriller-action packed flick, with an emotional hook that will keep the audience engaged. The director who was written off, poured his heart and soul into every scene. A few scenes might have been far fetched, nevertheless the actors bring it altogether with equally dazzling performances. SK wins the battle of the most believable character portrayal in a violent film genre. SK hits the mark where other's in similar character portrayals fail, he endured to capture your attention with his eyes. If you don't see this on the big screen, you’ll miss one of the best performances of in the last decade.

Lokesh's storytelling is what makes this a hit with A+ performances from the cast. A must watch, Rajinikanth's will keep you guessing. Story could have used a bit more clarity near the end, otherwise, a must watch. Amir Khan's role was a let down for me.

Although the story has substance, a plot, and a climax the director fails to smoothly transition from scene to scene. As the audience, you want to get into the movie but the movie is all over the place; even with a good cast the movie cannot be helped. We all know Suriya is a great actor and so is Mohanlal but sometimes, it just doesn't work out : ( My wife and I watched this and we were both dissapointed and dissatisfied. Clearly, the ratings were given by Suriya super fans and it does not deserve more than a 2-4 stars at most. Action sequences were very sloppy and not executed on camera seamlessly with poor CG work. What was Suriya thinking? Not worth watching in theaters.
