There is nothing 'Gehri' about this movie, except the depth at which the protagonist drowns and dies in the movie :D
I don't understand why Bollywood tries to ape the west right from the costumes, culture and language!
The kind of equation they set between the characters is "foreign" and not relevant to the Indian context.
Brothers sleeping with their sibling's spouse, cousin's cheating on cousin is weird and abominable. Trying to normalize this to the Indian context is not acceptable.
I don't understand why the critics are gung-ho about Deepika's performance, why does she have to depend on skin shows all the time to prove her acting. She is shown as a yoga teacher, who has no clarity about her personal life and ends up killing somebody(although in defence). How can somebody buy this?
Bollywood need not take pain in bringing out these movies, we already have a lot of Hollywood movies that bring in the class and context.
