I happen to think that Jonah nailed this. It felt like we were along for the ride. Stylized as a camcorder documentary, as we see Fourth Grade shooting through the entire film. I was older than this in the 90s but was part of skate culture in the midwest. This was tuned into everything, throwing a coming of age story there with it. I knew these characters. I grew up with these characters. I was just like others in this film. This film made me laugh and cringe, then laugh some more.
