This show is black excellence through and through!

The show is incredibly well done making you rethink what you know about wealth, wall street and startups. Jared Letto's performance is nothing short of brilliant, I had to google numerously to confirm that it was actually him portraying Adam Nuemann. Anne Hathaway doesn't drop the ball either as she honestly journeys through the episodes struggling to find her place next to her husband. The show is well-paced leaving you wanting to know more while educating you on what manifesting can do and the perks of undeniable charisma. More shows like this are required for us who wouldn't want to follow the story in real time but would prefer great television.

This is Historical fiction at it's best. The characters ebb from pre-colonized Korea to present day. Filled with mythical beliefs and trauma of passed on loss and grief from generation to generation, the show gives Koreans dignity that had been taken away. Sunja's journey is proof of endurance at a time when hope was a luxury and the performance given byYoun Yuh- jung is extra ordinary. Without spoon feeding us, the show emotionally educates us on how we are shaped by the past and how we must learn about it before we repeat the same mistakes.

The second season was way better than expected. Here we are forced to look at our younger self, past traumas that weren't worked through and how this affects David the boy to him becoming the man. Filled with heart-felt conversations and a deep symbolism to look into the past in order to explain the present and prepare for the future, the show depicts black manhood as an identity that is still searching for itself and beautiful because of it.

There's truly nothing like this on TV at the moment.

Ruth Wilson's performance is everything in this show.
