Good acting from Holland but did not care for the storyline

Brilliant in every respect. I read the book and that was hard to beat but this series does a mighty job. Acting first class and the story captures the struggles of life in a working class area.

This is top notch drama. It does not go on for to many episodes and comes together nicely at the end. A very different plot than most thrillers . Well acted by all inc the children.

Nothing fancy but a well acted movie that pulls at the heartstrings. Not sure about the editing at times but Mark is obviously doing something close to his heart. It was inspiring and kept me engaged till the end

I loved every season and could not understand why it was canned. The plots were excellent and mood driven. The characters very believable and the settings suited me coming from a warm climate. I highly recommend it and rate it up with Bosch. The Tunnell Endevour and Black Spot to name a few.

Matt Damon always adds the element of authentic action. Fast paced with the feel of what it would have been like in the early days of this war.

Well done. Great sets likable characters with interesting plots. The Duke's reluctance to listen gets a bit tedious but otherwise well acted

This show had everything. It moves with style and suspense. It showcases both the narrowness of small town life but also the ability to forgive. We never know till the end. The forest is always there much like another great French series Black Spot
