I'll be honest I wasn't expecting this to be any good. Before I watched it I wasn't convinced Emma Stone had been correctly cast as the lead but how wrong was I? This is film is just fabulous and Emma Stone is a tour de force as Estella and Cruella. Not so sure of Emma Thompson. She was great but part of me thought the likes of Streep or Bonham Carter might have been better. That aside the film is already on my favourite film list that I know I will watch a lot. The music, fashion and 70s London vibe make this an uber cool film to watch. Also love some of the supporting characters like Arty. One of the best live action Disney films, second only to Mulan.

Cannot believe all the poor ratings for this movie. Discovered it in lockdown, it looked awful but thought I would give it a go and honestly its a hoot. The first 15 minutes are slow until Carrel arrives and then its a non stop rollercoaster of much needed silliness. The end dinner scene is hilarious. Lighten up people. Great film and Carrel is at his best. His funniest character since Brick Tamland. Its on the films to watch when I need cheering up. A surefire gigglefest.

This movie is another Pixar masterpiece. From the title you expect a movie about music and Soul as in the music genre but this is not the case. Very like Inside Out, it's a journey into the human psyche and constantly has thinking of what happens next. The end point us brilliantly apt given the year the world has had with Covid 19 and like 2020 itself leaves you thinking about what is really important in life. Well worth a watch but put your phone away as this film needs your full attention.

Watched this last night and it was just fantastic and worth the fee. Absolutely epic and beautiful to watch. The lead actress who played Mulan was brilliantly cast and superb. Also because its Disney great to be able to see battle scenes fully instead of with on eye closed because no blood, guts or gratuitous dismemberment. I hope after Covid cinemas do screenings because this would be great on the big screen. Thoroughly recommended.

Hilarious! If you love Will Ferrell and Eurovision this is a dream film. Worth watching for the cameo singing scene alone. Love the elves reference particularly clearly popped in as a nod to Ferrell's other most famous movie role. This is just pure daft genius and nails the weird world of Eurovision to a T. This is new favourite classic that I will watch when I need cheering up.
