I have not gotten to read this one yet, but all of the other Murder books by Mr.Herbert I have read.They are a delightful mix of Murder and comedy.Love the recipes too.If this book is as good as the rest, and I'm sure it will be, it's a must read.I like his humorous folksy style of suspence.

I read this book back in 1973 or 74,50 years ago.I don't remember much about either,other than he was a gull flying around,higher than the other birds.It a short novel,but very popular then They made movie about it.I had a t shirt made with the sea gull on it that I wore a lot.You will have to read the book,if you can find it and make your own decision.

I have seen this movie many times over the years.its a much better remake of the old movie Death Takes a Holiday,that I have also seen.Even thought it's a long movie,I liked it up until the ending.Here Susan meets the coffee shop guy again.And she tells him,"I wish you could have met my father." It's like,she realizes Bill has died,but ,then the 2 join hands and go to the party.Thatdoesnt make much sense to me.
