A review on the the reviews. For those of you who clearly didnโt get the message, let me help you out. This is clearly a movie for all audiences, not just adults. There are so many people in this boat of unacceptance no matter what age. I suspect that some of you people have expectations so high, you have forgotten that acceptance itself needs acceptance. Some of us possess the ability to see the intention of a thing and look past any faults therein, which is really what this movie is all about. Havenโt any of you seen hairspray? So it was a little cheesy. Whatโs wrong with a little cinnamon on an overly sugarcoated issue? What better way to deal with an extremely emotionally sensitive subject. I thought it was a wonderful way to encourage the people of today to broaden their emotional and spiritual horizons and let life in, even just a little bit. I saw one review stating something about people on the โother sideโ referring to the oh so emotionally fragile Christian/religious group and โwhere they come fromโ while completely forgetting that it isnโt all all about them and that this โcornerโ wouldnโt exist in this way if it wasnโt for them pushing us into the corner in the first place. If you donโt want people to fight back and stand up for themselves, dont back them into a corner and leave them no choice. Which is, in fact, what the message of the movie is all about. Bravo! Well done.
