I don’t hate the game i just think its nowhere near as good as people are saying it is. I have never liked rockstar games, the controls are the most clunky and nonsensical controls i have ever experienced. It honestly feels like my characters fighting against me. When i try to go right, he wants to go left, when i want to run backwards, he stands still for a second and the turns around and casually strolls instead of running like a normal person. The shooting is boring as its just spam L2 to lock on and press R2 to fire until the enemy is dead. Theres a few different categories of weapons but every single one feels the same. Furthermore all the characters are either horrible people or just planks of wood, its impossible to relate to any of them especially Arthur (spoiler ahead) Even when he dies i didn't care because he was just a dick to almost everyone he met and started more fights than he prevented. Plus he gets TB pretty late in the game so when he dies it feels like it didn’t really matter as he was going to die anyway. The story doesn't really do much except for when you go to south america, that was the most fun part of the game but it only lasted an hour or two. I really disliked my time with the game. If you enjoy rockstar games i would recommend this to you but if you have never played a rockstar game I recommend you to buy this for either as cheap as possible or not at all.

I’d like to start off by saying, don’t listen to the one star reviews. Most of them just boil down to “hard game bad because game hard”. Yes, this game is challenging, I think you should be aware of that before you buy it, you’re going to spend a few hours dying to the same boss but all of those deaths are lessons. First you’ll realise that when that boss thrusts you need to dodge into the to mikiri counter and do loads of posture damage, then you’re going to realise that in the second phase the boss will try to trick you by initiating a thrust attack but doing a sweep attack instead so you have to double-jump on top of him but once you get it down its an incredible feeling. So in short: DONT buy this game if you dont have a lot of time or patience or just want to relax at the end of a long day. DO buy this game if you want a rewarding and fun challenge that will grip you and have you coming back for hours on end.
