I laughed out loud at this fast paced and sometimes silly movie. You can’t take it seriously and if you just watch for the fun, it is absolutely excellent.

Unexpectedly captivating film. No gratuitous violence, no explicit nudity, just two teenagers, one born on Mars, one on Earth, who are drawn together in a beautifully crafted, interesting story. This movie makes you appreciate the beauty of living on this planet. I was hooked from the start to finish. Truly, I thought it might be just another ‘coming of age’ junk piece, but it was anything but!

Absolutely DREADFUL film! No plot, no character development, no intrigue, just mind-numbing boredom with an ear-numbingly monotone drone as a soundtrack; one excruciatingly long hum that lasted the whole movie! The actors were unattractive (even RP) the photography was ugly and this movie is just about the worst mongrel dog I’ve ever seen.

This film starts out like a Bill & Ted moronic rerun, but slowly evolves into a deeper introspective into PTSD and the meaning of life for a young disillusioned free spirit. After 36 days in a terrifying hostage crisis, broadcast live like a reality TV show, Cliff Spab tries to return to his normal life, but nothing is the same. Everyone wants a piece of his newfound fame. Stephen Dorff carries the whole film with excellent acting skills. By the end, I was rooting for the young man. He took his character from Bill & Ted, to Ryan Gosling... It’s just a shame I had to wait 26 years to see this movie.

Terrible script! No action, only long scenes of actors looking worried and gazing at nothing. Honestly the WORST movie even made! Even the great actors could not bring life to a confusing, dull script and the total absence of direction. Oh my! Poor Luke Grimes, being saddled with such a dog on his resumé.

A beautiful movie! Sweet and gentle and full of amazing characters who grace the screen without stomping over the delightful script. My favourite movie since The Notebook!
