So bad it made me (finally) cancel Netflix. It's like a high school student wrote this. Just a movie of conveniences. Nothing can happen without being propelled forward in the stupidest, most unbelievable ways.
Don't buy into the hype.
Understand, we do pay for these movies. All these properties Netflix is licensing and producing itself are funded by us! And Netflix continues to raise its prices to justify delivering more [lackluster] movies. I don't want more movies. I want better movies.
And as for gore? No. If you're the type to easily get uneasy by, IDK, a dog eating its own vomit, then cable TV probably freaks you out. But I was eating while watching the movie and the gore didn't even register. It's just a bad movie.
DO NOT SACRIFICE YOUR INTELLIGENCE TO TRY TO ENJOY A MOVIE! There are good movies out there that aren't childish and make a great deal of sense, and still give you what you're looking for - whether it's deep narrative or lots of gore. The movie should respect your intelligence and - most of all - time; Because for me that's the ultimate sign of a bad movie. It's not only because it doesn't make sense, but by the end, it took a chunk of my life that I could've spent sleeping.
I've tried hard to speak in general terms without spoiling anything for those interested. (Even the dog comment doesn't appear in the movie) But if I were to go into detail and highlight just a few events that were shoddily contrived, just to push the plot forward, you would definitely understand that my criticisms are factually accurate.
Watch it if you are interested, but please don't try to justify it if it falls short. Always be honest with your experience.
