Dull, predictable and cliché-ridden. The script doesn't allow the actors to be anything other than awful. We're seeing it through to the end out of a sense of duty to the Church.

Utterly outstanding. Clever, creative and engaging. A classic of the future. Go see it for yourself.

Really great to see Hugh Grant tackling something way beyond the foppish roles which are (were!) his trademark. The movie offers an excellent exploration of faith, wrapped up in a menacing and intriguing plot of twists and turns. I liked it less as the menace turned into violence. For me, it lost its intellectual credentials and became a moronic slasher movie, as if to please some dimwit psychopath who might be lurking in the audience. Still, well worth a trip to the cinema. Very, very watchable.

Just good fun; light, cheerful and optimistic and just the job to keep up the spirits on a wet, lockdown afternoon. It is to Shakespeare what a Big Mac is to cordon bleu...but there are times when all you want is a light bite.

Truly awful. Poor script, dreadful acting, mind-numbing plot, gratuitous violence. One to avoid.

I spent the entire time waiting for Godot. He never came.
