Newman was (obviously) amazing as he always was. But I submit that this is one of Tom Cruiseโs greatest roles. I canโt think of a better actor for the role of Vince. Who else can โflake on and flake offโ like that, as Newmanโs character Fast Eddie Felson put it? โYou have to learn to be yourself, but on purpose.โ Probably my favorite movie of all time.
