The lead character made this movie a real horror to watch. His over the top non-acting was pathetic. Never hoped to see such acting in a Hollywood movie. The story is really well thought and the plot had a lot of potential. Could have been one of the best horror movies but poor direction and below par acting ruined it. I am surprised by 74% rotten tomatoes rating. Always thought rotten tomatoes was genuine.
