Nothing like the books. They tried to turn a teenage criminal mastermind, who was written to be a villain even though he was the protagonist, into some kind of hero. And they blew open several plot points that weren't even revealed until book three. Bad casting, bad script, if you have never read the books you might like it. But overall it sucked
