I was somewhat aware about what this movie was gonna be when I immediately saw the main protagonist carry a high end mirrorless camera in the trailers. I feel like what A24 struggle was not getting the point of the movie in the trailers. People expected a COD like movie based on the trailers but instead it’s a more down to earth and grounded movie. What I got out of the movie was a commentary about photography itself and how people will become desensitized to war. If you are looking for an action packed movie, you won’t find it here. But the action in the movie is very intense and the sound design was amazing.
