For a movie that brings you through different people's entire lifespans in a matter of hours for them, there is little to no character development made and I felt no attachment to any of the characters. I feel like this was the first draft of the film, and nothing was actually thought through. I understand that indeed it is a sort of mix of horror/sci-fi/thriller and I am able to appreciate far-fetched plots, but wow, nothing added up in this film, the most unimaginable of things happened to the characters, and then you see their family and friend counterparts barely react, and I don't think this was all down to just their 'shock' at what had happened. Awful script, awful execution, and just downright an unenjoyable watch. I can't believe Shyamalan put his name to this film, as I love some of his other works! I wouldn't recommend going to the cinema to see this.
