My wife and I absolutely love this show and have watched the box set several times. I can honestly say that I have not viewed such a beautifully crafted show in years. The script and acting are so perfect and the beautiful Suffolk countryside and the filming in the picturesque village of Framlingham fit so perfectly. If you ever get a chance to visit this little gem of a place then do so. The village hall, church, Maggie's shop, Two Brewers pub (real name The Castle Inn) and Framlingham Castle (not featured in the show) are all within a five minute walk of each other and we love to visit whenever we are down from Sheffield. All the actors involved are so perfectly cast and yes the theme tune is also an absolute gem. If you love this show then check out Mackenzie Crooks take on Worzel Gummidge.... its a treat.
