I personally love this game and enjoyed playing it for the most part there are definitely flaws but I still love it. *SPOILERS *the main flaw is forcing you to play as Abby and trying to make you like her because it doesn't work i still wanted her dead at the end of the game although some of the side characters from this section were really intriguing and it give s a nice background for some of the events that happen when you play as ellie. I also think something that people who are leaving bad reviews miss is the point of the game is not to let revenge consume you. Yea we all wanted Abby to die and ellie to kill her but ellies character was not like that in the first game she was kind. She let's her rage guide her into killing those responsible for Joel's death. The ending fits perfectly with the theme of the game and ellie realized that killing abby won't do anything. The song Joel songs in the prolog sets the theme of the game "if i ever were to lose you i would sure lose myself..." this is what happens to ellie she loses her father figure of Joel and she loses herself to revenge.
