I had hopes for this movies, but by the halfway point all those hope we're dashed. This was a flop. The plot didn't make sense, the philosophy and anthropology of this movie are really messed up. And it seemed really immature in it's "resolutions" to the issues developed on the plot. A lot of poor representation of heroics, science, morality, and purpose for action. The movie tried to touch on major topics, but in the end it failed to give a helpful presentation of these issues, and in my opinion made a mockery of problems like: human suffering, slavery, cultural development, and how to understand the meaning of life. Even on a surface level this movie had poor CGI and the acting was "par" at best
