Austin Montgomery

A near perfect example of satire that combines a very serious tone with a lot of laughs within. One of the best films I’ve ever watched. I would guess that the reason for so many negative reviews is that the film portrays how ignorant and petty Americans are a little bit too well. We Americans aren’t very good at humility :) Often, laughs are followed by an unsettling feeling about just really how outrageous our culture can be at times. I thought the characters were portrayed just outrageous enough to be clearly satirical, but close enough to home where it’s unsettling. Definitely worth the watch. Very very memorable
