I am not a huge fan of memoirs but this was one of the best books I ever read. Jeannette Walls’ story was just so sad and I found myself feeling more grateful for what I have than ever. Her story is inspiring. She went from having nothing to eat for days to being a very well known and successful writer. She inspires me as both a person and an author. I would recommend this book to anyone at or above the age of 13. This book took me on a journey and I will never forget the things I learned from it. All I can say is, thank you Jeannette Walls; thank you for the having the gut to share the reality of the world we live in. I am a better person for having read your story.

Wonder is a beautiful, inspirational novel which paints a picture of the world we live in through the eyes of a little boy who has always been treated differently because of the way he looks. This book took me on a roller-coaster of emotions and really made an impact on my life. The movie was wonderful too. I would recommend this book to everyone. This is the kind of book that can truly change the world, if only everyone had the ability and the heart to read and understand the message of it. Love to everyone, Liv Holt
