*Spoilers*
Really well acted, and also a gripping story. It definitely deserves an 8/10.
I just found it tremendously frustrating that the guy's actual crimes - three murders - were rarely discussed with the people that needed to know. A mention of the rape he committed might also have been useful. Maybe that's what would have happened in real life, but I find that really unlikely.
The bloke turns into some kind of criminal mastermind, the same chap that hid someone he'd kidnapped at his mum's house! A triple murderer would be pretty notorious in the UK, but he manages to slip by everyone.
And I hate to say this, but what he did to the daughter was so bad that at no stage, even when his illegitimate son is visiting his triple murderer dad in prison, will she explain to anyone what it was he did. I could understand that if it worked, but it keeps not working and she still won't say.
There's just too much that creeps in to make it more implausible than I feel it sets out to be.
