Braith Russell

I absolutely loved the 1997 movie. I was 8 years old at the time and I fell in love with Selena, i wanted to be like her. I was beyond devastated to know her death was factual and she was no longer with us. When I heard there was a Selena series on Netflix I was filled with joy and high expectations. However, as I write this, I just finished watching part 1, and admit I disliked it very much and am deeply disappointed in the depiction of Selena. I would have wanted to see less hair dying and more bustier making! I could have done away with AB going on dates and Suzette driving lessons. I am staying hopeful that Part 2 will redeem itself.
