Just finished watching this superbly well made series. The story and the acting is top notch inspite of no major names. I ended this series with a new found respect for the actors, special shout out to Savinderpal, Barun Sobti, Harleen Sethi & Manish Chaudhari. The story is true to life and the cast has lived the lives admirably. I know for a fact that had this had any mainstream big name the industry and fans both would be raving about it, atleast a few of us are. Kudos to the script writer and the Director, keep going strength to strength. Thank you for putting my faith in streaming channels again, I was bored of similar story lines and unnecessary abusive plugs recently.. Cheers!

spectacular visuals, amazing scale and content is king...must watch...I hope regional cinema across the board continues to push the boundaries like they already are...

7 on IMDB & 8.8 on RT!!! So many inconsistencies its not even funny actually it is, this is not a mystery its a comedy and the joke is on the worst detective ever. This detective is so incompetent he never takes calls or returns them and people end up dead...ha ha ha ha Very poorly scripted could've turned out much better in the right hands...

The movie starts with great intent and is quite engaging in the first half. Regrettably the second half is fairly predictable after one particular scene (which I cannot elaborate as it would contain spoilers). 2 characters in the movie are complete props and have no significance on the storyline. Dhritiman Chaterjee is majorly under used he could have been used much more effectively. The whole movie seems to be hinged on the climax and on the last monologue to be delivered by AB. I think they hoped against hope for AB to deliver a miracle but he wasn't provided the tools with which he could make the magic happen. Major parts of AB's delivery are observation's I completely agree with, having said that it gets a bit preachy towards the end. Had a storyline that had immense potential could have been a killer climax, had it been fleshed out a little more. I'd say it was a 50/50 kind of movie - In hindsight the movie is ideal to kill some time, such as during a flight or a long journey.

Preachy, lacks logic and there are so many holes in the plot that it just can't hold the story together. Overacting by Nana, he is growing old and its time to shed the age old 'tough-guy' image it just doesn't work for him anymore. My two bits, you'd rather watch something else instead of wasting 2 hours of your life on a story that just doesn't take you anywhere and you are constantly asking yourself why is this happening.. anticipating that the climax will be jaw dropping, just doesn't deliver!

Bugger the reviews and critics this series is a 'Ray' of sunshine. I'm from Bengal and have read a lot of Ray's work and the adaptations in this series are commendable. There is a modern twist and take on the works which i think would have been appreciated by the master himself. I liked all four stories and this series is definitely worth your while. My fav were Ali Fazal & Manoj Bajpai's portrayals having said that Menon & Kapoor were good too. I highly recommend the watch and the works of these non-conforming directors and actors in the Indian Film Industry who are instrumental in bringing back the likes of people like me who gave up on watching our work in the aftermath of our mediocrity from the 80s to the early 2000s. Two cheers also for the new platforms that are allowing collaborations such as these. Hoping this series keeps moving forward and continues to push the envelope also considering that there is a lot of 'Ray' still to be explored.

A very well made movie touching on the fact that how similar we are even though we are constantly trying to find differences in each other. Manipuris and Nagas are some of the most talented people i've known,I am so glad this movie was made, people need to know them beyond their looks..especially delhites...kudos!

One of the best crime thrillers I have watched produced in India...ever! So proud that this content is fully developed and executed in India. This story will surprise and so will this lesser known cast that has done a brilliant job. The story is about the good and bad in us as people and how there are actually 2 nations in this single country - it explores how we are grey and multi-layered and not just back and white in our humanity. The climax is extremely gratifying and the slow build up in the first 2 episodes is more than made up by sticking it out. The writers, actors and directors have a new admirer in me and I will follow these guys for their previous and future work - especially Jaideep Ahlawat. With the recent departure of Irrfan I kept asking myself who is going to hold fort? This series has reinstated my faith that everything will be fine with Indian movie making,I'm sure Irrfan too would have been proud. Absolutely a must, must watch. Thank you to everyone involved....overjoyed!
