The tone is all over the place and every time they try and bring in the more comic book centric ideas (boomerang tiara, invisible jet, Wonder Woman flying) the explanation is paper thin. There is absolutely no reason for Steve Trevor to come back in another mans body when his return is magic. The constant man bashing that we are all rapists, bigots or sexists is a little too on the nose. The 2 stars are for Kirsten Wigg who pulls off the transformation of cheetah really well, it’s just a pity when she goes full cheetah the movie is so dark you can’t see her. The CGI, particularly any time Wonder Woman is speed running or flying is woeful. Equally bad is the acting of every single extra/side character and when your main villain tells you he tried to embody Nicholas cage you know you are in trouble.
