Fantastic series with a wonderful cast. Even some great episodes where it pokes fun at itself or the inconsistencies in a science fiction series. Jack O'neill is the lovable sarcastic guy that forces the smarts of the show to dumb down for himself and "without breaking the fourth wall" Its viewers. O'neill often plays off as the dumb guy of the group, but in reality has a way of seeing it the way it is, and staying in his lane, knowing where his and his teammates strengths lie. Wonderfully being the glue that forms the group to being the infamous sg1. Samantha Carter is more than just eye candy to many people. She is great at being a military/nerd. She is stern and serious, but oozes nerdyness when explaining to anybody the technobabble of the situation. Tending to get lost into the explanations and often being rained in by Jack or many other members of the series to simplify herself. throughout the series, you can see her and O'neill rubbing off on one another. Her seriousness calmed by his sarcastic wit, and his wisdom increase that he cleverly hides behind more sarcasm. But the cross growth is not just between those two, but each member shines through into one another, like Daniel Jackson. Daniel Jackson. "The response cannot always be so swift and easy O'neill." The most open minded of the group. Placing himself in the shoes of others and fighting for all sides. Understanding each person to their basic core. Fighting for all rights. He helps to round the groups diversity and to pull together during times of trial and prejudice. Starting off as butting heads with O'neill, the two grow into a great friendship that plays well off one another, but also still clashes. Jackson does not lack in humor either, for he can dish like O'neill. And then we have Teal'c. The Sholva, or as the Gould call him. A great warrior "Indeed." I enjoy his friendship with O'neill I believe the most. Or maybe it's most touching to me. Where as Jackson and O'neill builds a "best friend" Friendship. Tealc's and O'neills seems to be one of a brotherhood bond. Teal'c is a warrior of honor, and wisdom. He will always have your back.
