I've not stopped playing this game from minute one to right now, the fighting mechanics are crunchy complex and satisfying. The animation and quality are superb and the overall environment, world building, and atmosphere that Sucker Punch has created is exceptional. The story is both profound and compelling. The writing and facial expression captured for this game perfectly captures the essence of restrained emotions and dignity similar to that displayed in the excellent Akira Kurisawa movies. Of which this game seems to have pay many homages to. In addition Ghost of Tsushima has a great Villian who immediately shows his intelligence and resourcefulness. Politics and fulfillment of duty to earn the respect of those you help keep me feeling like a part of the world. It does not feel like Assassins Creed in any negative way, it feels distinguished thanks to its attention to detail and varied mission structure and profound writing. To sum it up this game has big ambitions with its grand scale of something that has been done well many times and executes this perfectly! This is a game to the caliber and most similarity of Red Dead Redemption 2. In its graphics, story, writing, characters, action, attention to detail, and world building.
