Quality takes time to appreciate. Those who only see the flaws in this show, miss that flaws exist everywhere and perfection an utter illusion. A masterpiece like this show isn’t exceptional because it is flawless, it is exceptional by having flaws but being complex and beautiful regardless. Having met people similar to the portrayed genius, so totally absorbed in their work or to their art, who turn to drugs or alcohol as a release, I thank the writers for portraying imperfections so honestly. Now, time to read every book by the writer!
