Brilliant enjoyable series! The acting was fabulous with my absolute favourite being Lesley Manville who deserves an award for her portrayal of Lydia Quigley! I do hope a 4th series is considered

Loved this series! Please will the arrogant, self congratulating, unsuccessful would be screenwriters but who are now only critics try to realise that some viewing public want to escape ‘reality’ for a little bit and watch a good old romp of a story with a happy ending!!! Beautifully filmed, beautifully cast and beautiful music score! I was transported in every episode to a fantasy Hollywood and I revelled in it! Critics - as you were!!!
