Do yourself a favor and forget this mess. Poe doesn't work in a modern setting. Mike and his team need to go back and watch Roger Corman, Mario Bava, The Hammer Films, and European Horror of the sixties/early seventies! This is terrible. I struggled through it. Too many jump scares. Pacing is off. Feels forced. Way too long. Lack of Gothic-ness. Overly sexualized. Too much cursing and the F word all over the place. Embarrassing piece of work here. What a letdown. You have been warned.
