My husband, 9yr old son, and I love to watch educational shows on the weekends as a family. I skipped over this show the first few months I saw it advertised. My son was actually the one who wanted to watch it, so we did. WE LOVED IT! It was exciting to learn about different ways other countries are doing things to help the earth. We loved the seeing all the different foods and how they were grown & prepared. We especially loved seeing all the gorgeous places...all while being reminded of just how fragile earth is becoming. The fact that two handsome, charming, 'down to earth' men were hosting the show, was extra. Ha! My son enjoyed watching the constant fun-loving-teasing they had with each other...and my husband & I loved the sense community & fellowship they had with people everywhere they went. All of that alone made it worth watching...BUT the really big take away for me, as a mom, was the impact it made on my son days and weeks later. He's been so inspired to learn & research more about things & places he saw on the show. This show planted a seed in him. BRAVO!
