As it stands, I cannot recommend this game. Numerous functional issues including local save only (cannot Steam cloud save), complete inability to replay the campaign so then locked into 'end game' multi-player, disappearing inventory and collectible items, incomplete/inaccurate animations and cut scenes, subtitles which outright do not match dialogue, and extensive bugs and crashes... Even if looking past the gameplay knocks for minimal playstyle variance between heroes, and an equipment grind so unnoticeably rewarding it rivals Destiny, this game is rife with issues enexcusable from this tier of studio. How anyone can reasonably rate this higher than a 6.5/10 baffles me. As it stands, I could not grant it more than a 4. I would note that if all the functional issues gets changed, it would skyrocket to an 8+, but that is hopeful and minimally months away.

Warcraft III has held the title of my favorite game for nearly two decades. I had never been much of a gamer, nor was I invested in any game--until I fell in love with WC3. The lore was enthralling, the gameplay satisfying, and the presentation was unmatched. Then Reforged released, and my heart is now broken. Core faults: - Nearly all of the upgraded features advertised we're ignored and not implemented - Multiplayer function is virtually non-existent - Single player campaign is difficult to bear with 'upgraded' models injected directly into cut-scenes which are two decades outdated, and frame rates that are abysmal during scenes and gameplay There are many other detailed complaints which can be identified, but the list goes on, and painfully so. Save yourself from this unquestionable mistake by Activision-Blizzard and stay away.
