Great acting and overall great location scouting; however, the story structure is sloppy. It has all of the stuff a millennial would love: drugs; 90's rave culture; tropical paradise; a bunch of good looking people; orgies and other random sex; murder; a cartoon-like villain with Oedipus complex. As a millennial myself, those can catch my eye if done right (HAHA), but this was not the case. The story feels all over the place and hard to follow. From the beginning, hardly any background story is presented. Information is slowly released over time, but I did not find it done so in a clever manner. The flashbacks were a bit cheesy and multiple scenes felt out of place. By the middle of the series there's multiple story lines going on and none of it really makes sense. I contemplated stopping by the third episode because I just felt confused in an uninterested manner. Suddenly, it felt like the end of the series by episode 5 and the start of a new story by episode 6. By that point I had enough.
