5 Stars not because this book is about my grandfather but because it shows sheer determination and courage of a young boy who grew in the village who fought for change. It is a leap of faith. You never know you're ready unless you try. This young boy tried. and he succeeded, and grew up into a very vocal man who fought for self governance. However, I know a very important part of this man's journey came after where the last chapter of the book ends, and upon reading to the end, I was merely disappointed that the book does not continue on from 1969 where the story could have continued on to the road to independence, life after politics and how he became a successful and honest entrepreneur.
