I am giving this book an A for effort. It taught so many things about Queer BIPOC individuals and, on top of that, it introduced me to the work of a fellow Dominican, Sharon de la Cruz. I like how Sharon takes the time to teach us a little history through this book while she opens up to the readers. This is a true graphic memoir you can't miss if you want to support BIPOC creators while learning a lot about their experiences.

Very inspiring and full everything that, in my opinion, Superman should stand for. However, it feels a little too idealistic, not that there is anything wrong with comics attempting to lift us all with utopic stories of good versus evil, but as I get older, I crave more stories where Superman feels more grounded. I still recommend this work for the great art and for trying to answer some questions that a modern Superman would have to face if he was real.

The book will buy for my children when I have them.
