Overacted and not believable at all

Disappointing and depressing. Slow and predictable. Expecting a bit of a story but just a load of drudgery. Didn’t feel like the acting was believable. Not worth wasting your evening on!

Very disappointed in This film. Appreciate it’s based on Spielberg’s childhood and introduction to film making but it’s SO slow and miserable. Thought there must be some lighter moments but they never came.

Please do not take young children to watch this film!! 🙏. Most scenes involve packs of extremely vicious and scary hyenas preying for a kill. I had to look away and thankfully the majority of viewers were adults. Shocked it’s a PG. won’t be taking my grandchildren for fear of nightmares.

Not a lover of this film. Extremely slow . Bill Nighy doing his very best to sound like Paul McCartney. Husband fell asleep half way through it. Decided to leave. Friends said didn’t get much better so made the right decision. Very disappointed.
