PH Squad

Watched episodes 1-2 and the show looks promising. But, really as you watch along you’ll find several things that seems don’t go well: 1) casting - some actors don’t fit with their roles like the (a) butler (who looks like a gang leader (b) cha eun woo- he is too handsome to be a priest (he has chemistry with the female lead so seems like it would have been better if the role is switched with van (c) so yeah Van or Ban - not sure if it’s the acting or his face but he somehow lacks fierce for demon vibe and charm for a hero vibe - he only looks dull and grumpy 2) unwanted scenes -(a) we get it the female lead is being hunted by demons — but why there has to be many of those scenes from episode 1 to episode 2 (hoping no more for the next) (b) SPOILER ALERT - the story when the student got possessed by the forest spirit who got possessed by lust demon - there was no build up much on how the female lead becomes so involved with the student’s life, but she seems to be over protective of her (i really cringed when the female lead keeps saying “I’ll protect you” - when in fact she can’t even save herself she keeps screaming Van and when Johan asks her to hide she immediately do so without even trying to help fight —- and she even said “I’ll do the revenge for you (really? How close are they again as a new guidance counselor who hasn’t been there in school for a month?) 3) female lead - not all the time though, only when she keeps calling for help without even trying to defend herself (or may be because the actress just doesn’t look like much of a damsel in distress type?) — and please she’s s pretty to have that kind of Morticia Addams hairstyle (may be just add a bit volume can help?) Still want to give it a shot, only because Cha Eun woo is there. Just really hoping it has a good ending to make it all worth it.

No chemistry between leads, SHK so stiff and storyline is bland. Watched ep 1 but fell asleep just in the middle of it
