I was amazed at the ingenious script that so cleanly allowed the audience to slip behind a slice of the psyche of the American Blacks (as my own friends refer to themselves). I thought that I understood, but could not until now, the depth of our societal pigeonholing. The ending was unexpected. I am excited to watch it again! However - I was completely turned off by the "crotching." It had nothing to do with the plot progression and pulled viewers out of the unfolding mysticism and beauty of the story. I would relegate each of those scenes to the cutting room floor.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was humorous, thoughtful, beautifully scripted and underscored. The animation was mesmerizing! I didn't cringe as I usually do in other productions. I found it uplifting and beautiful!
