2nd season was really good with the cast dynamics feeling like a family. This show restored my faith in comedies as I feel the genre was really subpar in the last decade. Witty, wholesome, and overall entertaining, I can’t wait for the 3rd season!!

Mystery, allure, fascinating characters, beautiful music composition… there is something slow and enticing about this show… but you’ll need patience. People don’t often appreciate a slow gradual build. I get that. Some of the other reviews were written early on, before the aliens actually showed up and started killing people if that’s what you’re looking for. But thankfully this is not a typical alien invasion show. It’s different and unique. I personal think the acting is great, on top of the special effects. I also love the multicultural reach of this show. I rarely write show reviews but was surprised to see the low reviews. Then again, people don’t always appreciate the deeper poetic layers anymore. This show has been refreshing compared to the typical Marvel or superhero shows that I am so tired of. There, I said it. :)

I didn’t think I would love this show as much as I do, truly an AWESOME show. I loved every season so much that I’m even writing my first Google review ever! The acting, plot development and character development are so enticing. It has an excellent combo of drama, humour, action, and unfolding plot. Absolutely love all the characters— Can’t wait for Season 5!!
