I watched this movie before I read the book, and in hindsight, thoroughly enjoyed both. The movieโs storyline does diverge from the bookโs at multiple points. The film also expounds on some characters and removes others.
While the depth of storyline and character development is far better in the book, Iโd say The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society film is worth your time, too.
