I really enjoyed watching the first Golden Bachelor, Jerry Turner was an elegant and charming, genuinely kind man. I don't think as well of Mel Owen and apparently quite a few people think his choice was a mistake.
In spite of the fact that Jerry and Theresa didn't make it-I don't think either of them were necessarily good for each other, just shows that the premise of two people falling in love and going through what they did, it just wasn't realistic.
I'm watching this second season and I watched Joan and Chuck during the Golden Bacherlorette as well. I'm a loyal member of the Bachelor Nation and agree with most of their choices. I'm not necessarily going to agree with all of them.
