My favourite scene is the one where Sanjay Mishra sir beautifully compares love to a ganga dubki. He says that “love is like taking a holy dip in the Ganga — the moment it touches you, it purifies your soul. It becomes something sacred, divine, and cleansing, washing away everything impure and leaving only the essence of truth and devotion.”

One of its most moving scenes takes place on a quiet beach, where Irrfan Khan delivers a deeply philosophical yet grounded conversation with Konkona Sen Sharma. He speaks about the need to step out, to experiment, to truly understand love beyond boundaries. The dialogue is raw, honest, and unforgettable. The performances across the board are incredibly natural, and the casting feels perfectly intentional—each actor fully embodying their role. The direction, too, allows the story to breathe, giving space for emotion to unfold authentically. This isn’t just a film—it’s an experience. I just can’t bring myself to watch this film again. The pain… the sheer depth of emotion it holds is beyond words. Every frame, every moment echoes a feeling that stirs something unbearably tender in my heart. Seeing Rishi sir on screen—it’s like looking at my Baba all over again. He left us just a few months ago, and I still can't accept the void he's left behind. Watching Rishi sir in this role was like watching Baba—his mannerisms, his warmth, that mischievous charm, his gentle humour... it was all so him. It felt as though he had come back for a while, just to smile at me one last time. The resemblance wasn’t just physical—it was soulful. That lovable nature, the elegance in his simplicity, the way he lit up the room with his presence… my Baba was all of that and more. And now, every time Rishi sir smiles or says something witty in the film, my eyes well up uncontrollably. I’m reminded of a laugh I’ll never hear again. The film itself is a masterpiece—beautifully told, deeply engaging. Not for a single second did I feel bored. But it broke me. It tore open wounds that are still healing. I cried like a child while watching it. And even though I admire it deeply, I just… I don’t have the strength to go through it again. Sometimes, stories hit too close to home. And this one? It felt like it was telling mine.
