Aside from everything else everyone mentioned, Jake’s acting was terrible in this. My son has asthma, and Jake’s portrayal of an asthmatic was just…bad. The crying in the bathroom with zero tears was equally terrible. As someone who is often around actors, I know tears don’t always come, nor do they always equal a believable performance, but when you’re convulsing crying and can’t produce a single one, I don’t believe you. Sorry.
