I rarely attend movies, but was drawn in by my Catholic faith and some knowledge of Mother Cabrini. The film was exceptional in every way, from the amazing performance of Christiana DellโAnna to the musical score to the cinematography and costumes. The scenes of 1890โs New York City were particularly realistic, and brought the audience into the plight of Italian immigrants of the time. The strength of Mother Cabrini in the face of prejudices of the late 19th century was inspiring and aligned with the call of Jesus to love our neighbor as ourselves. This movie deserves every award and great review it receives.
