I always enjoyed Brandon’s ability to act, especially in the movie “ with Honors”.. I still watch it. When he recieved his Oscar for “the Whale” I was happy he won tho I hadn’t heard of it and I was hesitant to watch it because it looked painful sad, Even hard to look at. ! Plus being in health care and living as long as I have I’ve come across most every kind of out of control health issues. However, this movie here touched my soul anew. Tears were unstoppable and brought me back to the basics. to the “curveballs” that life is so good at throwing at us, at those moments we least expected. Knocking us out into a reality we never could have painted for ourself. The Loss of love. The emptiness we try to fill with drugs, sex, alcohol, or in this case “food”. There is all kinds of love. The love we have for our children that never dies. Or our love of nature, art, books , Or pizza.! But that one love , if lucky, we find we can share totally with that one other person, that one in a lifetime love, that when we lose it nothing can replace it. and this movie hits hard how much power love has. It can lift us and if taken, it can break us. Love is definitely the most beautiful and most powerful and yet can, if lost, it can be the most destructive. This movie will move you. And worth every tear. Great movie.

I like the idea of a messiah.. after all Christianity and other religions teach an ending to the suffering here on earth and the day of the sons return. With the way the violence has risen in our world, everyday something horrific is reported. Some days more than one horrific crime/situation that affects many if not all. The end days in the Bible speak of Christ’s return and not as a lamb, but a lion. And many signs will appear, etc etc .. The movie line is scattered but able to follow.
