This book practically raised me. It’s been a part of my life since I was little, and it still very much is. Honestly, the characters (particularly Mike, I’ve gotta say) are so well written—they feel like actual teenagers. Like, UGHH THEY’RE AMAZING! Shannon Hale did an excellent job with this book and it deserves so much more credit than it gets.
The first time I picked up that book was a moment I’ll never forget. It was like my path in life had changed for the better. I know that’s cheesy, but it’s true. 11/10 would recommend to anyone who can read. I love it so much <3
